New things, new things!

Pardon my lack of blogging lately, especially those of you waiting to see previews of your sessions, but I've been working to re-brand Elizabeth Davis Photography, polish it shiny and get moving on some proactive outreach to grow this little business up.

So, without further ado, I am so very pleased to announced that it is finished!!! Yaaay! (To all of you who endured my back-and-forth emails soliciting your opinions about logos and colors and fonts, my sincerest thanks and love.)

A word (or two) about my new logo: I know some of you are sad to see the owl go, and in a way I am too. It represents the blossoming of a beloved hobby into a real, actual contracts taxes clients schedules vendors marketing management BUSINESS. However, as an image, the owl didn't really stand for anything, nor did it represent my work or style in a definitive way. Twenty plus logo sketches later, I have chosen the one you see at the top of my blog. To me, this image - taken from a shot from one of my most favorite sessions ever - epitomizes what I'm shooting for (pardon the pun): Life, fun, joy, genuine people and uninhibitedness, all presented in a way that's clean, crisp and professional.

Sooo, that's my explanation. Take a minute to cruise the site, to which there have been many enhancements. There's music too, so turn on or off your speakers accordingly. :)

Clients, you will still be able to view your images and order prints from my proofing galleries, as I'm sticking with my current print provider for time being.

Thanks for hanging in there with me, everybody! Your support over this past year has been enormous and overwhelming. Come back soon to see some AWESOME recent sessions!

Liz
