Nels & Christina | Engagement Session

I'm so excited to share this engagement session... Nels & Christina are two beautiful individuals who are very much in love (as you'll see). We shot at a local Tallahassee park on a very drizzly afternoon. There wasn't much light to speak of, but I think I'd rather photograph sweet, happy people in less-than-perfect light than some other kinds of people in perfect light. Because, in my opinion, no matter how great an image is technically, it will never be as good as an image with those qualities to which a viewer is able to emotionally connect.

A fact worth mentioning: Both Nels and Christina currently serve in the United States Navy and are training to become pilots. Do these two rock or what? Yes. Yes, they do.
