You know what I love about photographing kids? After a certain age, most people just get naturally self conscious and have a harder and harder time being comfortable in front of the camera. Unless they grow up and become trained models, at no other time in life can most just stare into a camera without pretense or awkwardness. Kids do this constantly and I love it.

Tyler, Ethan & Cole | The B Family
I don't get to photograph as many families or kids as I'd like to. In fact, one of my goals this year is to focus more on families because, wow, kids are just so great. Check out these wonderful boys, whose Dad snuck them out of the house to get this photo session done as a Christmas surprise for his wife.

Here's to a lot more family and kid-featured sessions like this one! :)
